FAQ & Aftercare

Good to know

Preparing for a visit and caring for your skin afterwards helps you get the best results.

Before your visit

What should I expect at my first appointment?

We start with a short consultation about your skin, goals, and any sensitivities, then build a treatment plan together. Plan to arrive a few minutes early.

How should I prepare for my treatment?

Arrive with a clean face if possible, avoid sun exposure and tanning beforehand, and let us know about any medications or recent procedures. Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for several days before peels or microneedling unless advised otherwise.

Who should not receive certain treatments?

Some treatments are not recommended during pregnancy, with certain medications, or with active skin conditions. We will review your health history before every service.

Aftercare

What does aftercare look like?

In general: keep skin hydrated, wear SPF daily, avoid heavy sweating and hot tubs for 24 to 48 hours, and skip active ingredients until we say otherwise. You will receive specific written aftercare for each treatment.

Will I have downtime?

Facials, dermaplaning, and LED have little to none. Peels may cause flaking for a few days. Microneedling typically means redness similar to a mild sunburn for 1 to 3 days.

How often should I come in?

Most clients enjoy a monthly facial. Advanced treatments are usually done in a series spaced several weeks apart, and we will recommend a schedule that fits your goals.

Booking & policies

How do I book an appointment?

Use the Book Now button or the contact form and we will confirm your appointment time by phone, text, or email.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule so we can offer your time to another client. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
